Hey there! How the heck are you?



I'm just a guy who's a little too smart for his own good, trying to make a connection.



Spent a good long while at being a techie, travelled around some doing it, wondering. Like an Everly Brother. I like rock and roll (and lots of it), riding my motorcycle, poetry, occasional low-impact fishing trips, BBQ, football, baseball, hiking, skiing, hanging with friends, beaches, mountains & what's in between; good food, good cheer, lucky toasts at the end of a great night, a safe ride home, a friendly smile, kind eyes; good, happy times...



I like character, quick wit; loyalty, high spirits and a goofy sense of fun in my friends. A good bottle of wine, a bucket of icy cold beers, shared with new acquaintances and old. An arched eyebrow, a mischievous smile, a dance in a warm rainstorm, a gentle touch, a sense of style -- these are the inroads to my soul. The thing I'd love to do most is sit around a campfire with a guitar swapping spirits, stories and songs.



I've done a bunch of things, so have you. Career, kids, loves, travels; successes that we sing about! But there are still plenty of dreams to fulfill, longings to pursue, beaches to walk, hills to climb, roads to ride.



I am far from perfect, inside and outside. I don't really have much patience with folks who walk around showboating how together they are, I'd just rather chuckle, put my arm around my girl and walk over to where our friends are and raise a pint in celebration of all of us who aren't so perfect, and are quite happy about it!



I refuse to accept the possibility that 'all the good ones are already taken'... there are plenty of people out there looking for love, we've all just gotta be ready to take a chance!



Fact is, I have a personality, you have one too. Let's put 'em side-by-side and see if they get along! And maybe kill some time; in some old, fairly well-used place with some history and some character, telling stories, getting close to something real.



We don't have to be soulmates to go out on a date; we just have to be moderately friendly and relatively open minded...



As to you, though, you know who you are: I know you're out there, darlin', I've just gotta find out where you're hidin'!
