I'm a single mom, with a beautiful 25 year old daughter. I love reading, listening to music (I'm a rock chic), riding Harleys (wish I had one), good food and drink, good conversation, movie marathons, and playing video games (yea, I said it).

I have a BS in Kinesiology but never really got to use it. I'm was an Exec. Asst. for over 25 years but decided on a career change back in 2016. I went back to school and am now a Network Engineer. I love my work, love the challenges and opportunities that comes with it, and wish I had done this years ago.

I have been told by my friends that I have a quirky sense of humor (their words, not mine). I am straight forward, sometimes even blunt (I don't play mental games, nor do I tolerate them), and treasure family and loyalty above all else.

I like conversations that make me think, but don't try getting into an ego argument with me, or debating as if you were someone who thinks they are always right no matter what anyone else says. If you try that on me, I'll get up and walk out. There... warning given.

I'm a very passionate, loving person, so if you don't like being hugged, kissed, and cuddled then I'm not your girl! I love getting outdoors (except when it's too hot to move), and I do my best to live in the moment. My favorite saying is "Plan for the future, learn from the past, but live in the now"! However, my second favorite saying "Always eat dessert first because you never know when you're going to die" (I did say I had a quirky sense of humor, right?).

I'm an ex-athlete, having either competed in or just played with cycling, swimming, dancing, martial arts, volleyball, horseback riding, and hiking, among others. That being said, I've had several medical situations happen over the last few years that has made me have to give a lot of those up. It sucks, but there it is.

I'm looking for someone who is easy-going but responsible, someone who loves to laugh and not take life too seriously, yet can still get the job done when needed. Someone who is open-minded, but is solid enough in his own beliefs and ideas not to be offended with someone else's opinions. I'm looking for someone who is complete enough in himself so that a relationship is the icing on the cake, not the cake itself. In other words, someone who doesn't believe that a relationship is needed to complete himself as a person. And finally, someone who likes to do things spontaneously every once in a while, but doesn't feel that these are the only ways to keep life interesting.
